Website terms

These terms apply to browsing alexwebdev.com and using its free contact form. They do not constitute an agreement for a paid project.

1. Operator and scope

The website is operated under the AlexWebDev name by an individual based in Poland. Contact the operator at contact@alexwebdev.com. The website presents portfolio materials and articles and allows visitors to send enquiries free of charge.

2. Technical requirements

Use an internet-connected device and an up-to-date browser supporting HTML, CSS and JavaScript. JavaScript is required for interactive features, including the contact form and privacy settings. Sending an enquiry requires a valid email address. Your internet or email provider may charge its usual fees.

3. Free contact form

To send an enquiry, complete the required fields and submit the form. The form may validate entries and limit repeated submissions to prevent abuse. A successful submission requests contact only: it is not an order, acceptance of an offer or confirmation that a project will be undertaken.

Use of the form begins when you start using it and ends after sending an enquiry or leaving it without submission. You may stop before sending at any time. A subsequent project requires a separate agreement specifying its scope, remuneration and other terms. No payment is required to submit an enquiry.

4. Permitted use and prohibited content

Use the website lawfully and respect the rights of others. Do not send unlawful content, threats, harassment, spam, malicious code, or material infringing privacy, intellectual property or other rights. Do not impersonate others, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the website or circumvent its security and anti-abuse measures.

5. Website materials and external links

Portfolio materials and articles are provided for general information. They are not an individual quotation or a guarantee of results. Rights in website materials belong to their respective owners; viewing the site does not transfer those rights. Use beyond applicable statutory permissions requires the relevant right holder’s permission.

Links to external websites lead to services operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Problems and complaints

Report technical problems or complaints about the website or contact form to contact@alexwebdev.com. Describe the issue, the affected page, when it occurred and, if relevant, your browser or device. Do not include passwords or sensitive information. You may provide an email address for a reply.

The operator will review the report and respond without undue delay, subject to applicable statutory requirements. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, provider outages or technical faults. These terms do not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Personal data

The Privacy policy explains contact enquiries, email, hosting and security data, providers, retention, visitors’ rights, and cookies and analytics. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time.

8. Applicable law and changes

Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable under law. These terms do not choose an exclusive court or restrict mandatory remedies. Changes to these website terms will be published here with an updated date and do not amend any separate project agreement.
